Meigan First grew up in the East Valley and attended Highland High School. While there, she participated in both the Choral and Orchestral Programs. Meigan sang in the Women’s Choirs and Concert Choir. She played cello in the Freshmen and Chamber Orchestras.

After high school, Meigan attended University of Arizona, where she studied English Literature and Choral Performance. She sang in Honor Choir, University Singers, Kantorei, and Collegium Musicum. Meigan continues to sing in the Red Note Foundation Choir as well as Choral Union, a student and community choir at Arizona State University.

Meigan currently works as a Notary Public in the Phoenix Metro area. She travels to various locations to facilitate the execution of real estate documents. Meigan is also active in her local church and serves with the children’s music program and as choir pianist.

Music is much more then something that Meigan enjoys. It is essential to her well-being, and her essential self. Serving as Choir Manager to help ensure that students, and the population at large, have the same opportunities to access quality music instruction and performance is a great honor.
