Jill Chipman, a Highland High School Alumnus and talented soloist, will join the Red Note Foundation Orchestra and Choir on Monday, November 30., 2015 for a moving arrangement to celebrate the reason for the season.

Jill LeSueur Chipman is a lifelong student of music. After studying piano, violin and voice for over 20 years, Jill graduated with a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Brigham Young University. She sang for four years with the world renowned vocal ensemble University Singers, under the direction of Dr. Ronald Staheli. She traveled throughout the United States, Europe and Africa with the choir and is a featured soloist on the album Eric Whitacre, The Complete Choral Works. While a student at Brigham Young, Jill had the opportunity to further her education in Graz, Austria with the American Institute of Musical Studies under the direction of Dr. Irma Cooper.

After completing her undergraduate studies and returning to Arizona, Jill sang professionally with the Phoenix Chorale, formerly known as the Phoenix Bach Choir, under the direction of Dr. Charles Bruffy. She is a featured soloist on the 2009 Grammy award winning album, Spotless Rose. She traveled throughout the United States with the choir and enjoyed performing at various venues and competitions.

Jill resides in Gilbert, Arizona with her husband and three boys. She enjoys a private studio of voice, piano, and violin students.
