Red Note Foundation is seeking a talented individual to join our team as our Choir Manager for the duration of the 4th Annual Benefit Concert. While the needs for this position will vary, we are asking for no more than 4 - 6 hours per week from this position (including weekly rehearsal times). Kristen believed that music had an ability to touch one’s soul and improve one’s life. Red Note Foundation is dedicated to helping students and individuals gain the music education they seek while offering them opportunities to perform that will build character and showcase their talents.

Reporting to the Technology Director, the Choir Manager will guide the Annual Benefit Concert Choir and its members towards success while supporting Red Note Foundation’s mission. The Choir Manager will be a leader and motivator for the volunteer vocal musicians. Specific responsibilities include:
Attend all rehearsals and server as a member of the choir;
Arrive to rehearsals early to setup choir seating;
Coordinate music delivery to all choir members;
Provide Technology Director with contact information updates;
Monitor choir member attendance;
Ensure effective communication of all announcements, updates, and other information to all choir members;
Support the Concert Conductor and Choir Rehearsal Technician to coordinate sectionals or other rehearsals as needed.
Vocal talent and group performance experience;
Relationship builder with the flexibility and finesse to lead by example;
High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a member of a unifying force;
High Quality written and verbal communication skills;
Sincere commitment to working collaboratively with all constituent groups including staff, board members, volunteers, donors, program participants, and other supporters.
